Impact Map
What a change to one item reaches. The item sits in the middle; what it reaches directly is on the inner ring, what it reaches through something else on the outer rings.
What counts as reaching

What it rests on reads the same links backwards: what the item depends on, so a change there would reach it. Retired records, cancelled work, obsolete tests and closed risks are left out.
Using it
- Type a code at the top, or click any item on a ring, to put it in the middle. The address keeps the choice, so you can share it.
- 1–3 rings sets how far to look. Records / Work / Tests / Risks hides a kind; what lies behind a hidden item still shows.
- Hover an item to light the line that brought it there. On a crowded ring items become dots; hover shows the code.
- The list on the right says, ring by ring, why each item is there and through which item. Open goes to the item in the middle.
